A flight attendant won hearts of people when she did something amazing on flight. Patrisha Organo, a Philippine Airlines crew member breastfed an infant when the mother ran out of formula milk.
She posted about her experience and revealed that the flight’s only interruption was the baby’s cry. The flight attendant asked the mother to feed the baby, but soon realized that the mother had no more of her formula milk.
“I felt a pinch in my heart. There’s no formula milk on board. I thought to myself, there’s only one thing I could offer and that’s my own milk. And so I offered.” She wrote.
Organo and the flight’s Line Administrator Sheryl Villaflor guided the mother and her baby to the galley where Organo took the infant. Soon, the baby was breastfed and the hunger vanished thanks to the kind gesture of Organo.
The flight attendant also made sure that the baby was put to sleep before the mother and her infant was escorted back to their seat. Understandably, the mother was grateful and thanked Organo for her timely help.
The unexpected feeding wasn’t the only thing in store for Organo that day. “I was right, the flight’s gonna be special, so special not only because I got qualified as an evaluator but I got to help,” she wrote.
And like any other good story, the act went viral on social media and people praised the flight attendant.
